Home again!

We're back from our trip to the Netherlands and Belgium. Both countries are amazing - the atmosphere is great, the people are nice, food and beer is wonderful and you can bike everywhere. I was hoping with all the biking we did I wouldn't gain any weight on our trip but no such luck. I can blame it on the best apple pie I've ever had in my life, the to die for chocolate, double fried frites, and belgium waffles covered in anything your heart desires. All the carbs and sweets you can imagine, my idea of heaven!



Amsterdam

Red Light District - I couldn't get any more photos in this area because the bouncers will come out and take your camera away if they see you taking photos of the girls.

Bruges

Climbed 366 stairs to the top of the bell tower for a beautiful view of the city.

Bike ride along the canal to Damme


It started to rain on us on our way so we hid under a tree until the rain slowed a little. The views in the countryside were gorgeous. We both agreed if we could live anywhere in Europe it would be a place like this.



Brussels

Brussels Town Hall


Manneken Pis - The little peeing boy on special occasions is dressed in one of over 600 costumes. As a bonus he "pees" beer on the days that his costume is changed.
