I finally got my visa and we have our plane tickets. We will be leaving January 31. The plane ride is about 15 hours but we lose an entire day.
All that is left to do is the long car ride to TX and the health certificate for Keeley. They made taking a cat to Italy sound a lot easier than it actually is. We're having to redo her rabies shot b/c we used a civilian vet that wasn't USDA certified. She also needs a new microchip b/c the one she has is not an international chip. Poor thing is not going to like me that day - as soon as we're done at the vet I'm dropping her off at home and leaving for Texas.
