Gambino Winery

This past Saturday we went to the Gambino Winery in Linguaglossa with some friends. This winery was very similar to the few we went to in Temecula, CA but they are not as stingy with the wine here. We were given a tour of the property and then shown to our table that was full of delicious food - fresh baked bread, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, artichoke, eggplant, salami, cheeses and lard??!!? Danny and I passed on the lard but the other couple we were with tried it - the look on their faces said it all. I think that will be one thing I will not try while living over here.
