Our first full day in Mallorca started off on a tiny beach right by our apartment in Alcudia. It wasn't a sandy beach, just huge rocks that you could lay out on. It was a perfect morning of relaxing after the long flight the day before.
After Jose got off from work he drove us up this huge mountain to a lookout point. What a beautiful sight it was - so much better in person.
The next day we went to another beach. Danny and his brothers spent the day swimming in the water while I layed out and worked on my tan.
Jose had the day off on Thursday so we got up early that morning for a 2 hour drive to one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. We had to walk through this cliff to get to it.
It was a pebble beach and the water was crystal clear. We swam out about a hundred feet and could still see the bottom of the ocean.
Friday we spent the day at Porto Cristo, a very touristy area. It rained for an hour while we were there so we ducked in to a little bar and had some Tinto de Verano (our new favorite drink).
Saturday it was off to another pebble beach.
Sunday was very overcast but that didn't stop us from going to the beach. This time we just stayed in Alcudia and lounged by the water.

Amy and Danny,
Glad that you had such a great time in Spain visiting your Father. The beaches are beautiful, I am surprised that they are pebbles and not sandy. We am so jealous of the vacations you two are enjoying. Make a list of the best places, Mom and I are coming to see you next year.
Love,
Dad
Tim and I enjoyed looking at your pictures. While Ti was in the Navy 40 years ago he did two Med tours. He didn't see anything that he remember but like I said he was there 40 years ago. We look forward to see more pictures and glad you guys are see the world. Enjoy.
Love
Andy & Tim
